Learn the basics of English in this class made possible by Community Literacy Centers. This introductory level class meets every Monday and Wednesday from 6:00-8:00pm.

English as a Second Language (ESL) classes are designed to help adult learners develop their knowledge and skills in English speaking, listening, reading and writing.  The books and materials used for class are specifically developed for adult learners and include

We will be taking storytime outside the Village Library, where we will read stories, sing songs, and gaze at the stars and constellations in our new planetarium!

Children are encouraged to wear their pajamas and bring their favorite stuffed animal!

Playing with your baby or toddler is not only important for bonding but is also an educational experience for your child. We are providing a special time for you to come to the library and spend one-on-one time playing with your little one.

A different community resource professional will be available each session to answer your parenting questions during playtime. Topics may include:

Learn ways to improve your overall mind, body and spirit through a series of slow continuous movements.
Tai Chi helps reduce the risk of falling, increases balance and flexibility. It does not matter how strong, flexible or active you are. This course is designed for people of all levels of health. Classes will meet twice a week for six weeks. Instructor is provided through OHAI.

Calling all Preschoolers, ages 3.5-5! What will be going on at the library today? Something exciting just for you! Will it be playtime, storytime, parachute play, or music play? No matter what, it will be fun, so come and see! Registration required.

Similar to tag, Humans v Zombies is an interactive game where zombies attempt to decimate the human population. Everyone is equipped with a nerf gun except for the couple of "zombies" to start off the game. Zombies can turn humans into zombies by touching a human with both hands. Humans can "kill" zombies by shooting them with a nerf gun. The game is over once there is a small group of humans left. Alliances and fun encouraged!
